To speed up the formatting of our document, let's choose one of Corel Ventura's ready-made style sheets.

Choose Load Style sheet from the layout menu. The typeset directory contains a variety of style sheets for formatting newsletters, magazines and other publications.

Using the Quick Format roll-up, you can instantly transform the layout of your document. First, select page layout from the list to display the options. Now, scroll through the mock-ups and double-click to apply a layout.

You can load text and graphic files into the document's frames using the Files roll-up from the Tools menu. First, select the Pick tool from the Toolbox and click on the page frame.

Now, double-click on a file name to load the text. Let's select a second frame with the Pick tool and load a graphic file into the frame as a masthead.

Using the Tagged Text tool from the flyout menu, select one or more paragraphs you would like to format, then choose a tag from the list to apply the attributes.
